#HeyjowQuarantineCorners: Inside Anna's Quirky Mid-Century Modern Home

There is an upside to spending our days at home: we can finally clean, declutter and even redesign our spaces. This new series called #HeyjowQuarantineCorners aims to inspire creativity and joyful living at home despite what's happening in the world right now. Let's explore these beautiful spaces together, which have been generously shared with us by friends.

Rich in color and texture, Anna Cruz-Tayag's home is a bold mix of contemporary and vintage details with distinct pieces from her travels that add a touch of the exotic.

"I love to buy home decor when I travel and adore interiors by Kelly Wearstler, Jonathan Adler, and Martin Bullard," she shares. She describes her style as "Mid-century modern but fun and quirky" expressed in a mixture of wood, natural hues, pops of color and different textures.

Anna's kitchen and dining area in particular boasts of an unapologetic mix of patterns - from the walls to the tableware.

Since the lockdown, Anna and her family (her husband is comedian and director Tim Tayag) have been finding ways how to do physical activities and somehow enjoy the outdoors. "We converted our garage into an instant gym, complete with equipment, gymnastics mat, and trampoline."

"We also put an inflatable pool in our balcony for a feel of the outdoors since we love being under the sun. Now, every part of the house has become useful hangout spots!"

Which part of Anna's home is your favorite? Share it in the comments!
