Heyjow 2019 Highlights: Milestones for our 6th Year

As the Heyjow brand evolves, we as a team also grow and do more things out of our comfort zones. There were many firsts for us in 2019 - and here are the most memorable events and collections during our 6th year:

1. Heyjow at the 2019 Manila FAME

Known as the Philippines’ premier design and lifestyle event, Manila FAME promotes the Philippines as a reliable sourcing destination for high-quality and design-oriented home, fashion, holiday, architectural and interior products.

Our signature Summer Symphony Collection was showcased during the April run of the Manila FAME

The 2019 edition of Manila FAME included new show features that included the Fashion E-tailer Special Setting that featured the country’s rising fashion entrepreneurs and designer commercial brands. Heyjow had the honor of being one of the featured Fashion E-tailers for the 3-day event held at the World Trade Center last April 25 to 27.

It was our first time to participate in a big trade show and we were so grateful for the opportunity to meet fellow E-tailers and new clients through the show!

2. Ode to Six Anniversary Collection

Heyjow pieces took on a vintage-inspired aesthetic for the Ode to Six collection. Featured pieces included chunky chains with striking geometric links, statement earrings, and tropical elements in stunningly saturated colors.

One of the featured pieces in this collection is our Stamp Monogram collection

For the shoot, we played with shadows to give the photos a different feel. We also created a Look Book featuring pieces from this collection.

3. Ode to Six Thanksgiving Party

We wanted to express our gratitude to everyone who has shown us love since Heyjow started in 2013. As part of our anniversary celebration, we hosted an intimate gathering with friends and clients in August to say 'thank you' for their support for the past 6 years.

Nikki Garcia was kind enough to host our thanksgiving party and her beautiful home full of heirloom pieces became the perfect backdrop for our vintage-inspired pieces.

Feliz Dish and Details took care of the tablescapes and food for the afternoon while dessert choices included Sabrina Go's yummy manchego cheesecake and agate-inspired cookies by The Little Whisk.

Our guests had the chance to try our pieces on and have their photos taken by Sheila Catilo, our Chief Visual Brand Storyteller, who made a studio set-up in one corner of Nikki's home.

4. Launching our first collection of fine jewelry called Heyjow Luxe

Our first batch of fine jewelry pieces were launched just in time for the holiday season!

Michelle Quizon-Llamas was our muse for Heyjow Luxe, a collection of elegant pieces set in 14k yellow gold, white gold and rose gold with diamonds and stones such as tourmaline and blue topaz.

The collection also included pieces with pink tourmaline and blue topaz gems

We also styled these pieces with our signature demi-fine pieces from our Ode to Six Holiday collection to showcase its wearability.

Thank you to everyone who celebrated, purchased, liked and followed us in 2019! We're looking forward to celebrating more milestones with you for 2020!
