    #HeyjowTeam Picks from Aranaz

We have been fans of Aranaz for a long time and we are always excited with every new collection they release. A trip to their store is always an inspiring experience - browsing through their pieces momentarily transports us to a tropical paradise even if we're in the middle of the metropolis.

We had the chance to sit down with sisters Amina and Rosanna for this month's Style Stories where they shared with us the story behind their latest collection called Tiki Seashell as well as insightful tips on going global.

Aside from beautifully crafted bags, Aranaz also has home and lifestyle items that bear the same luxe tropical vibe, which are perfect for a coastal-themed home.

Here are our team picks from Aranaz's latest collection and lifestyle items:

Joana: "I love the intricate details of this hand-carved and hand-painted clutch. Its solid structure gives it formality, which is then contrasted by its playful design perfect for dinner parties in the city and as well as beach weddings."

Kath: "I love the puka shell details of these bags. I'm attracted to the color yellow lately and this yellow Kaia can go with my yellow mules. These napkin rings and utensil holder remind me of 'secret' gardens I've visited. It's an easy way to add a pop of color to a table setting."

Sheila: "I love the shape of this wicker handbag. The drawstring closure allows for easy access and it can go with anything since its in a neutral color. The Anahaw plates and cup set exude luxury and local charm - something I can give to balikbayan relatives."

Jaz: "My work desk is in need of new implements - and these organizers can add interest to an otherwise boring corner. I'm always in need of a good notepad since I'm always listing down to-dos and this pineapple pad makes writing down tasks more like a game than a chore."

Michelle: "The contrast of pastel colors and dark wood details on this bucket bag is so striking. This pink trinket tray is a fun way to store my accessories - I just love the cute pineapple in the middle!"

    #HeyjowxAranaz Layering Party

Layered necklaces is a Heyjow signature look and for our second solo trunk show, we wanted to give our clients the chance to handpick and layer necklaces the way they want to.

Through the help of the Aranaz team, we put together a 2-day Layering Party at Aranaz's Greenbelt 5 store featuring selected pieces from our V series and exclusive pieces made for Aranaz.

Heyjow designer Joana Gube with Aranaz Creative Director Amina Aranaz-Alunan

Minimalist and cubic zirconia pieces were the highlight of our layering bar.

Guests created their own layered looks with pieces from our V series and pieces exclusively made for Aranaz

Those who were looking for something colorful chose from lustrous enamel and gemstone earrings, which were inspired by Aranaz's tropical-themed collections.

It's not a party without balloons and Crafting Rainbows' over-sized and glittery balloons made the occasion extra festive.

While shopping, our guests enjoyed delectable appetizers with a glass of wine. Tray Bien's Mediterranean tray and Peking Chicken Wraps had subtle flavors that paired well with some Pink Moscato.

Day 1's guests shared this appetizer tray and chicken wraps from Tray Bien

We also had delicious dips from Serbesa Manila - the Jalapeno and Cheese spread was a crowd fave.

For Day 2, our guests sampled a cheese and deli platter from By the Plattr with a bottle of Prosecco.

By the Plattr's Social Platter with 4 kinds of meat and cheese, fresh and dried fruits, and nuts

For dessert, we had jewelry-themed cookies from The Little Whisk.

    #HeyjowxAranaz Garden Party Trunk Show

    #HeyjowxAranaz Garden Party Trunk Show

We welcomed the last quarter of the year with our first-ever solo trunk show that featured a collection curated for Aranaz.

Through the help of the Aranaz team, the two-day affair was held at the Aranaz boutique in Greenbelt 5, which was turned into a charming indoor 'garden'.

Accents came in the form of Aranaz's pineapple holders, leaf coasters, and handmade paper flowers by crafter Mabby Camacho of Mabby Makes.

Inspired by Aranaz's botanical collection of the same name, Heyjow's Garden Party collection is made up of dainty danglers in the form of foliage and winged creatures, floral filigrees, and classic statement pieces.

The trunk show also served as a preview of Heyjow's Holiday Collection made up of signature elements rendered in party-ready pieces.

While shopping, guests were treated to mini cupcakes and crinkles by LIttle Bites Cupcakery, fresh juices from Juice Hut Plus, and rosé wine.

It was two days of catching up with friends, family and meeting new clients.
