#HeyjowTeam Picks at Seek the Uniq's Habitacion Guide Shop

For our last feature for 2018, we sat down with Seek the Uniq's Commander-in-Chic Mikka Padua for Heyjow Style Stories

The Heyjow team with Mikka Padua, Seek the Uniq's Commander-in-Chic

We chatted with Mikka about fashion and business at Habitacion, Seek the Uniq's fifth guide shop at Powerplant Mall.

Like their previous guide shops, Habitacion is heavily inspired by travel particularly of Mexico, and it's an inviting space that encourages you to linger

We took our time exploring every corner of this bohemian space - and here are just some of the finds we loved.

Joana: "I've always wanted a bar cart and this rattan piece goes perfectly well with the rest of my furniture pieces. I'm looking forward to spending time at the beach in the coming months and the wide brim hat and tote would be great to bring on a tropical getaway."

Kath: "The clutch combines two of my favorite things: orange and language. I attended a good friend's wedding earlier this year and my bridesmaid dress was in orange. I've been obsessed with this color ever since! I love the scent of Scentful Living's Bamboo and Lotus candle - a whiff of it is instantly relaxing. I'm hoping to be more consistent in doing yoga in the coming year and the Karma water bottle would be great to bring to classes."

Sheila: "I can imagine wearing the blush jumpsuit with the woven bag and low heeled sandals on a weekend holiday with my family. It's a chic ensemble that allows me to move freely so I can take photos with ease! I'm a fan of Viajecito's water-resistant totes and this color is a good alternate to my sky blue one."

Jaz: "These colorful salt and pepper shakers are fun, functional and very Filipino! I can imagine using them as accents for one of my Filipino-themed cocktail parties or catering gig. The Amor coasters remind me of the movie 'Coco' and would be perfect for tapas or Mexican food nights."

Michelle: "I just love anything pink - and these knotted heels are so fun and feminine. The alpargatas are just as comfy as my usual sneakers but definitely more chic - perfect for events or errand days. I've recently taken skincare more seriously - and the serum's unique packaging instantly caught my eye. It's playfulness definitely makes putting it on seem less like a chore."
